Burger King recently launched a new surprising collaboration that feels more like divine intervention to Star-Wars fans with an entire Mandalorian and Grogu themed menu! Whether you’re looking for something to spice up your average fast food indulgence or you’re just a hardcore fan of the Star Wars universe, this limited-time meal is definitely worth a hyperspace jump to your nearest Burger King.
The promotion was officially launched on May 4, 2026 to celebrate and promote the upcoming film The Mandalorian and Grogu. The menu includes a primary adult meal as well as an alternative kids version. While cost varies based on your location, the ones located in the San Gabriel Valley are the $19.99 Bounty Bundle and the $3.99 Kids Meal. The Bounty Bundle includes one of four collectible 32oz souvenir cups and comes in a specially branded Mandalorian-themed carrying box. The new menu items included in the Bounty Bundle include the BBQ Bounty Whopper, Grogu’s Blue Cookie Shake, Group’s Garlic Chicken Fries, and Imperial Cheddar Ranch Tots, while the kids meal features a choice of a hamburger or 4-piece chicken nuggets, paired with a small fry, applesauce, a drink choice (milk or apple juice), and one of eight collectible Mandalorian-themed toys featuring characters like Grogu.
But enough with the facts; let’s get into the honest review. To be honest, my expectations were extremely low, considering Burger King’s track record of the 2015 Halloween Burger which turned your poop green or the 2025 Bikini Bottom Spongebob Collab which featured almost no change from the original menu. However, it’s safe to say that those expectations were blown away. All of the menu items were entirely unique, and they all differentiated from the classic Whopper and fries in a pleasing way. Though personal bias may affect my opinions on the Garlic Chicken Fries and the Cheddar Ranch Tots, the BBQ Bounty Burger and Grogu’s Blue Cookie Shake were game-changers. The BBQ Bounty Burger used deep-fried pickles instead of the usual soggy slices, and they added a unique crispy and savory texture that complemented the beef well. Meanwhile, the shake was a colorful blue vanilla soft serve sprinkled with blue cookie crumbs and cookie syrup with a thick, creamy texture which in my opinion, is one of the best desserts Burger King has put out in years.
Overall, despite the sort of underwhelming souvenir designs and sides, the Bounty Whopper and Blue Cookie shake made me a fan of this collaboration. Even if you aren’t a die-hard Star-Wars fan, or if you’re not on a budget, I strongly recommend you give that meal a try. I personally didn’t get the kids’ meal, but who knows? Maybe in your next order, you’ll be able to get your own mini-Grogu to shield you from the dark side at night.
