Hello Matadors!! We are reaching the end of the third quarter of the school year. San Gabriel High School’s Open House was a special way to welcome the end of the quarter. It was an exciting evening that brought students, families, and teachers together to celebrate the school community and showcase student learning. Parents had the opportunity to visit classrooms, meet teachers, and learn more about the classes their students experience everyday. The event gave families a closer look at the projects, lessons, and activities happening across the school, highlighting the hard work and dedication of both students and staff.
Throughout the evening, the campus was filled with energy as families walked from class to class while teachers shared course highlights and examples of student work. Many students proudly showed their parents around campus, pointing out their favorite classrooms and explaining what they have been learning. Open House provided a meaningful way for parents to connect with teachers and gain a better understanding of the academic environment at San Gabriel High School.
Adding to the excitement of the day, the school’s boy varsity volleyball team delivered a shocking and memorable victory against Temple City High School. In a match that many expected to be close, the team pulled off an impressive win that energized students and boosted school spirit. The victory became a major topic of conversation during Open House, giving the community another reason to celebrate the dedication and achievements of SGHS students both in the classroom and the court.
