The Class of 2026 at San Gabriel High School celebrated one of the most memorable events of senior year with a warm, lively Senior Sunset on the football field. As the sun lowered behind the stands, seniors gathered with blankets, friends, and plenty of excitement to mark the beginning of their final year’s countdown. The field was transformed into a relaxed, festive hangout spot, giving students the perfect place to unwind and enjoy one of their last big moments together.
A popular highlight of the event was the photo backdrop, painted by the Senior Class Council, where students lined up to take pictures with their friends. From casual selfies to full friend group photoshoots, the backdrop captured dozens of memories that seniors will look back on long after graduation. Music played throughout the evening, creating a fun, upbeat atmosphere that brought everyone together and set the tone for a night filled with laughter and many TikToks.
Of course, no school event at San Gabriel High School is complete without Chano’s Tacos. Students enjoyed fresh tacos while relaxing on the grass, talking to friends, and soaking in the moment. As the sky shifted from orange to pink and finally to dusk, seniors reflected on how far they’ve come and how close they are to crossing the graduation stage. Senior Sunset wasn’t just an event, it was a reminder that the Class of 2026 is heading into their final stretch together, ready to make the most of the year ahead.
