The day is Sep. 8, 2025. d4vd, known as David Anthony, was in the middle of his world tour when disturbing news was released, forcing him to stop his tour. What was the news? An unidentified dead body was found in a Tesla marked under David’s name in a tow yard in Hollywood, Los Angeles. At first, everybody defended d4vd, believing it was impossible due to him being far away on his world tour, and it was impossible to kill someone and hide them away in your car. This clearly isn’t enough evidence to deduce that d4vd was the cause of her death, nor to identify who was in his car.
The medical examiners for the investigation stated the body was “severely decomposed” and hard to identify. The only thing noticeable was a certain tattoo on the index finger that read “Shhh…” With this evidence, they traced it back to the singer d4vd due to him having an identical tattoo on his index finger. The police traced through their files to someone who matches the description of having such a tattoo on the index finger. After identifying the tattoo, they very shortly after identified the body to be Celeste Rivaz Hernandez.
The sad truth is that she was a runaway minor missing for two years until now. The saddening truth was that she was just 15. Celeste lived 75 miles away from where she was found and was reported missing by her family in April 2024. She has run away from home on several occasions with her boyfriend, who her mother knows as David. She was a first-gen daughter of immigrant parents from El Salvador. She went missing on Valentine’s Day and was reported missing the next day. When the autopsy came in, the medical examiners said she was wearing a tube top, size small black leggings, and jewelry, including a yellow metal stud earring and a yellow metal chain bracelet.
With evidence of d4vd having the same tattoo on the same finger as the victim and evidence from the mother about her boyfriend’s name being the same, people had enough reasons to believe d4vd is closely related to Celeste. To put his career on the spot, fans have noticed his hit songs like “Romantic Homicide” to be something similar to a confession to his crimes, showing a girl who looks similar to Celeste in the video, which was unnoticed before the incident. Not only did he have one song, but he had numerous songs, including an unreleased song named “Celeste” after the victim’s name, Celeste Rivaz Hernandez.
d4vd has not addressed any of the rumors, nor have the police. As of right now, the suspect is still on the loose, and no arrests have been made. The investigation has yet to conclude, and no charges were dropped due to a lack of evidence. Although many clues lead to D4vd, no charges were dropped against him as of right now. Will the case be added to the numerous unsolved cases, or is the police going to catch the culprit and serve justice for Celeste?
