In the middle of the already competitive SGV boba scene, NaiSnow Tea and Bakery has quickly become one of the newest spots people are lining up for. Located on Valley Boulevard in San Gabriel, NaiSnow stands out by combining trendy tea drinks with bakery-style desserts, creating more of a cafe experience than just another boba shop.
Originally founded in Shenzhen, China, NaiSnow has grown rapidly overseas before recently expanding into the United States. Even though SGV already has countless tea shops on almost every corner, NaiSnow still manages to feel different. Instead of focusing only on milk tea, the store mixes fruit teas, smoothies, desserts, and fresh pastries all in one place. The inside of the store is modern and bright, with clean white decor and colorful drinks constantly covering customers’ tables for pictures.
One of the most popular drinks is the Super Grape tea, which comes with fresh grapes blended into jasmine tea and topped with cheese foam. Another favorite is the avocado smoothie, which is surprisingly creamy without tasting too heavy. Customers who prefer less-sweet drinks also seem to like NaiSnow because many of the teas taste lighter compared to typical boba shops.
The bakery section is honestly what makes the place memorable. Their caramel egg tarts are probably the biggest reason people return. The outside is flaky and crispy while the filling stays warm and soft. They also sell matcha tiramisu tarts, coffee tiramisu tarts, sausage pastries, and bacon potato tarts. Some pastries even sell out early in the day, especially during weekends when the plaza gets crowded.
Part of NaiSnow’s popularity also comes from social media. The drinks are colorful, the desserts look aesthetic, and the packaging feels designed for Instagram and TikTok. It has become a common stop for people hanging out in SGV after dinner or late at night with friends.
Even in an area filled with popular tea chains, NaiSnow has found a way to stand out by offering more than just drinks. Between the bakery items, creative teas, and cafe atmosphere, it feels like a place people actually want to stay and spend time in instead of simply grabbing a drink and leaving.
