There are more anime coming in October! With Demon Slayer Hashira Training Arc transitioning to its final season, the Infinity Castle Arc, the new releases in October may hype up many anime fans!
One of the most exciting releases is Re:Zero: Starting Life in Another World Season 3. This new release will pick up on the story in Re:Zero Season 2: Roswaal, who happened to have the second Tome of Wisdom and realized Subaru’s unending curse on time-looping, attracted the Great Rabbit to attack him. As a result, Subaru convinced Beatrice to be his contracted spirit, therefore killing the Great Rabbit and saving the town. Re:Zero Season 3 connects tightly with the end of season 2 by reintroducing many familiar faces, which makes the audience feel a sense of nostalgia. Re:Zero continues to revolve around the ideas of death and time-looping to prevent the deaths, nevertheless enticing the audience with the unknown fate of Subaru, the main character who trespassed a different world. How will Subaru use his time-looping and skill in this new season? Let’s go find out by watching it!
Another anticipated release is Blue Lock Season 2. The second season talks about the players—who were selected by the “Blue Prison”—will compete with the U-20 Japanese team. The winner will be qualified to represent Japan in the World Youth Cup. Here is a quick recap of the first season 1: the Japanese National football team failed to get to the top 16 of the 2018 FIFA World Cup. The “Blue Prison Project” was enacted as an attempt to win the 2022 World Cup. The country gathered 300 forwards who were 18 or under, where they were trained intensely and brutally in the “Blue Prison.” Two hundred and ninety nine forwards are eliminated, and only a single top forward is chosen to represent the country. Characters such as Yoichi Isagi, Bachira Meguru, Hyoma Chigiri, and Reo Mikage are all familiar faces that the audience has learned about in the previous season, making it exciting to watch the second season to learn more about the characters.
