Big Way Hot Pot has finally opened. It has now officially become the second U.S. location, located in Monterey Park, California. Hot Pot is an East Asian type of dining experience, in which there is a shared pot of boiling soup where everyone can cook their meats, vegetables, seafood, and more. Big Way Hot Pot is known for their build-your-own hotpot. With a big Asian community in the 626, Big Way Hot Pot’s opening has attracted many. It officially opened on August 24, 2025.
The first restaurant opened in Canada in 2021. The first location in the U.S. opened in Rowland Heights, California. Currently, a new challenge has made its way to two U.S. locations. It is the Guess the Pot challenge. You must guess the price of your hot pot before you weigh it. If your guess is within ten cents, your hot pot is for free! If your guess is within twenty cents, you get 20% off. Finally, if your guess is within thirty cents, you get 10% off.
Big Way Hot Pot Menu
The self-serve hot pot is priced at $14.99 per pound, allowing you to choose a variety of ingredients. After selecting your ingredients, you pay at the counter and choose the broth in which you want your food to be boiled. Big Way Hot Pot doesn’t just have hotpot—they offer drinks too! Their drink menu features a variety of popular milk teas and teas with toppings. There are some alcoholic beverages as well. Be sure to check out their seasonal items and try out their limited broth and drinks.
